A personal activity heatmap

yikang draws the routes you actually did. A single pass stays faint. Roads and trails you repeat glow brighter. The colour is how often you were there, not how high the route is. This is your heatmap, not a public map of other people.

The globe itself is at yikang.me/app/. Files you import stay on your device. A Strava connection stores that authorization on the server.

What is the GPX heatmap generator?

yikang is a GPX heatmap generator. It draws your runs, rides and walks as a personal activity heatmap on a 3D globe at https://yikang.me/app/. Paths you repeat glow brighter. Heat means how often you passed there, not elevation.

Can I upload a GPX file?

Yes. Upload GPX, FIT, TCX or a Strava export ZIP. Those files are read in your browser and saved on your device. yikang does not store them on its server.

Can I connect Strava activities?

Yes. Connect Strava and yikang shows those activities on your globe. The server stores that authorization. yikang is not affiliated with Strava, Inc., and it is not Strava's public heatmap of other athletes.

Is this a running route visualization?

What is free?
